Big Brother
Created by John de Mol
Unfiltered. Unscripted. Unmissable.
Big Brother is an Australian reality show based on the international Big Brother format created by John de Mol. Following the premise of other versions of the format, the show features a group of contestants, known as "housemates" who live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. The housemates are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. Throughout the course of the competition, housemates are evicted from the house - eliminated from the competition. The last remaining housemate wins the competition and is awarded a cash prize.

The iconic social experiment that launched countless conversations, rivalries, friendships and of course, the bum dance, returns refreshed and ready to capture a whole new generation of fans while rekindling nostalgia for longtime viewers. Hosted by Mel Tracina, the reboot will feature everything you loved in the noughties: live nominations, live evictions, and all the action live from Dreamworld.
Season 17
Big Brother has embraced the Brisbane lifestyle and promises a season with more twists and turns than a drive to Mount Coot-tha. This is no ordinary sleepover. Things aren't what they seem, and sleeping with one eye open won’t help when you can’t believe your eyes. Everywhere the housemates turn, the house turns on them. But Big Brother doesn’t get all the fun: from night one, audiences will have more power than ever before. Toss in a nominations twist, an eviction spin, and more pranks than you can poke a stick at, and the season is set to be the most unpredictable yet. Buckle up, because Big Brother and his all-seeing, all-scheming eye are back on 10 from Monday, 26 October, and it's going to be one wild ride
